Hi, I’m Doug! I’m a motion designer, editor, and visual storyteller from The Oregon Trail generation! I believe the best work happens when a love for creativity meets skill and a genuinely fun, collaborative process. I’m here to be a creative partner—not just a pair of hands on a keyboard—dedicated to making sure the final product is as engaging as the journey to get there.

I began my career editing an unscripted TV segment called Kim’s Money Maker for XY.tv in Boston. After moving to New York City and a brief stint working for the Howard Stern Show, I found myself at The Kaplan Thaler Group editing for new business pitches to broadcast full-ups and everything in between. Out of necessity I had to create my own motion graphics and quickly fell in love with the world of motion design, VFX and animation and 3D modeling. Now I’m able to quickly marshall multiple skill sets to solve creative story telling problems with speed and ease. Vector motion graphics, explainers, type animation, compositing, social, unscripted, short form, I love it all!

Outside of work I am a father of two wonderful children, a lifelong bass guitarist (which I play kinda well) and like 7 other instruments (that I play kinda not well), a photography enthusiast, and am learning woodworking and ice cream making.  Not simultaneously.  Although a walnut vanilla crunch does sound tasty…
